Strength and Conditioning Coach – Lead Kettlebell Instructor – G2 Krav Maga Instructor
Nathan is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, a certified a Strong First Girya Instructor, and a G2 certified Krav Maga Global Instructor, . He holds a MS in Kinesiology from Cal Poly, SLO. His experience includes working as a physical therapy aide at the Body and Balance Center in San Luis Obispo and as a volunteer aide at Bell Trace in Bloomington, Indiana. At Bell Trace, he treated shoulder, knee, hip, and back injuries. Nathan also had the privilege of interning at Athlon Elite under Ryan Joiner. Since then he has gained experience in the fitness field through working at the Cal Poly Rec Center as a personal trainer, as well as helping with strength and conditioning for a local kickboxing team. Nathan has trained with and learned from the likes of well known and influential trainers in the strength and conditioning community including Dan John, Pavel Tsatsouline, Doug Nepodal, Brett Jones, Jeff O’Connor, Max Shank, Kelly Starrett and David Whitley. Other martial arts experience includes training Muay Thai under Ajarn Nelson Siyavong and Kru Albert Malatamban, boxing with Darby Evans, Kickboxing with Cruz Gomez, and Krav Maga with John Whitman, Alan Predolin and Eyal Yanilov.
KT Streder, MS, SFG
Lead Kettlebell Instructor
KT is a Cal Poly graduate with a MS and BS in Kinesiology. She worked with Dr. Hagobian as a research assistant examining exercise’s effect on appetite hormones in her undergraduate and as a graduate student. She taught undergraduate exercise physiology and biomechanics labs. Currently she is a part-time lecturer at Cal Poly in the department of Kinesiology and a certified StrongFirst Girya Instructor. At the moment KT is working on her Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification and preparing for the StrongFirst Barbell certification. Additional experience includes assisting collegiate-level coach Kathy Deaney in coaching SLO High School’s shot put and discus throwers and interning at Athlong Elite under Ryan Joiner, MS, CSCS. KT loves the combination of academic and commercial instruction and enjoys working with people who are simply motivated to get healthy or are training to improve sports specific skills.

Seth has lived on the central coast for over 20 years. He served in the United States Army as an Infantry man and trained Judo for one year under Greg Rubio. Shortly after, he found his calling with Krav Maga and he has been training since 2010 years in San Luis Obispo under Lisa Rivera. Seth has trained with Nathan Zimmerman and KT Streder at Sleeping Tiger Fitness since its beginning. It is his love for Krav Maga and his desire to share his knowledge that makes him a great instructor.
